    The stuff i got is flat plastic that the electric firms place over the cables that are buried in the ground it is about 1-2mm thick and about 25cm wide the length is what you cut it and can be cut using a sharp knife, its not brittle even when frozen, i dont know where to buy it from as i was given some by the blokes laying cables in our area hope this helps.

    Easy enough done. Not sure weather it's the same "Kydex", But it is red in colour and on one side has a yellow and black warning notice/sticker alerting anyone who uncover's it as to what's underneath.

    Nah not nice man, grumpy old so and so according to the Oracle "her who must be obeyed"

    The size approx 8" x 11" as that is the size of the jiffy bag. The eight inch bit is fixed the length can be what you want as it's on a roll Sapper mate. I have put in two pieces will that do you OK.
