Today i made a sheath out of some stiff plastic that the electric firms put over cables for protection, the machete is a small one (its called a camp knife) and does not come with a sheath.

I have got kit everywhere but where it's supposed to be. So tomorrow it's mustering day. Well, it's really a clean up in the shed, and loading back in stuff that have mysteriously spread itself all over the house without anyones knowledge....

I know what you mean mate. SWMBO was on my case for ages because of what she calls 'my corner' having no room left. Straight into a black bag to add to the rest of them.

Spent the day preparing for tomorrows hang in the woods. And the weather is offering nice test conditions. Little bit of snow, perhaps some rain, temps around zero celcius.

It's a type of plastic on a roll approx one sixteenth to one eighth of an inch thick about eight inches wide. Its used to protect underground cables ie:- to stop ground workers putting a spade through the cable underneath. I folded this stuff in half by using a blowtorch to warm the plastic and gently folding in half around my machete. If you want some I still have some that you could have.
