Many thanks for the offer ..... After the wife has finished packing the kitchen sink into the car, there will be no space for any 'wild camping' gear.

( seriously, there are 12 assorted bags and boxes waiting to go in the car -so far !! - only one of them is mine )

Most Connecticut state parks are, also. You can only set up on designated campgrounds (usually poorly maintained), you pay minimum $14 for one night per person (you pay more if you're not a CT resident), you can expect to be surrounded by RVs, and fires aren't permitted...unless there are designated fire pits. Connecticut doesn't have ANY options for 'primitive camping', except for a few city parks.

That made me laugh bud, feel your pain brother, chin up and if your a good boy she may let you get away on your own in the woods when your home! (thats what my mrs says to me anyway ha) also try not to kill anyone.. as my experience of normal camping sights usually involves lots of people with loud music playing, drunk ppl falling over your tent, dog mess, and kids screaming.... not to put a downer on your 'holiday' bro haha
