busy day today, but managed to find 15 minutes to make a bail handle for my tea-caddy billy can out of a bit of stainless steel welding rod I scrounged off my dad

As for wives and knives - my missus quite likes that I keep a razor edge on our kitchen knives and is on pain of death not to put them in the dishwasher!

The problem with my wife is her cutting things on plates rather than a cutting board. Bad for the plate but terminal for the knife !

I wish I had a pound every time 'Her Majesty' has chucked the knives in the washing up bowl filled with soapy water and I have slashed my fingers on them because she didn't tell me they were there.

Only thing done today was to irritate SWMBO by hanging the Jerven bag to air out and dry draped over the bed room door. And now I go out in the shed to give the Hultafors axe a drop of lins seed oil. The last of the daily treatment. from now itęs once a week for a month :-)

Oh and closed the deal on a UK army Desert Combat Jacket in MVP. Did not buy it to be camoflaged in the massive, sandy deserts of Norway. I just wanted a gore tex jacket, and this was cheap. Also did not want the very military look that the Green DPM gives. I thinks this will work fine. If I don't want to be seen I think there is a ghillie suit somewhere in my parents attic...h ehe

Victory awaits the one, that has everything in order - luck we call it
Defeat is an absolute consequense for the one that have neglected to do the necessary preparations - bad luck we call it
