    If history be my guide, when the fire goes out and the mesh cools it will get dew on it and then rust. (I know it says stainless steel but I've a notion too it won't last)

    Cheap tripod chair and 2 foot of wire mesh would be somewhat cheaper I think

    £35... about a gallon of beer down the pub and the fire will last longer lol Might be a good option for the paddlers amongst us.

    Please read carefully!
    It says its primary function is a charcoal rack.
    Not really suited to roaring log fires, which in the long term will definitely soften the wire and introduce failure.
