    Fish & Chips Tool

    hello,
I posted a similar link over on the BCUSA forum. I was playing around with the gadget recently a "stone kicker" friend of mine had in her EDC kit bag. It's called a "fish & chips wallet tool" it's one of these stainless steel credit card sized tools where the tools pop out from the card for instant use, in this instance a small 2 pronged fork & a serrated edged knife, both oblong in shape. On viewing the tool, the knife having a serrated edge doubles as a ferro rod striker, both tools could be used as fishing lures & the fork as a spear head for fishing using either end of the fork. I understand these can be bought in bulk online for anything between £1.25p & £2.49p with any added personalised design pending where purchased. This particular tool was a gift & I was offered 1 (still under consideration). It's an interesting concept BTW as a very simple tool that can have multi uses in a Bushcraft situation.

To be honest, if you are looking for something like this for use in a 'survival' type situation, one designed to eat fish and chips is probably not the best buy. You are much better off buying one of these..... http://giftshop.touchofginger.com/pr...ival-Tool.html from the same company. It's a survival tool and not a modern sleek chip fork!

    hello,
I've seen most of these gadgets that are of similar calibre. I was merely pointing out that I tried & tested the fish & chips tool as it was at hand.. BTW far the best tried & tested.. http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/fo...al+credit+Card
