    "norton india sharpening stone"?

    Hey all!

    Clearing out my dad's old stuff today and I found a sharpening stone!whats left of the packaging lables it a "Medum India Sharpening Stone" by Norton. It has MBB on it which looks like some kinda model number.

    Stone is about 8 inches long by 2 wide. Plain brown throughout. I'm not hugely experienced so i'm not even gonna try to guess the grit but it feels the same "friction" on all sides.

    ANyone used this before? Opinions?
    Anyone know what grit this is?

    Medium India sharpening stone , I'd hazard a guess at between 600 and 800 grit.
