    Manila Door Mat

I made this door mat from 3/4" manila rope 40 years ago as a present for my mother and father-in-law. My wife and I now have it and can't seem to wear it out. That is a very durable mat.

Very nice. Ive seen similar to these before , maybe smaller, as coasters and table mat set to stop hot food and drinks burning rings on wooden tables...
They are beautiful, shame to have it as door mats....

Nice work, great to see something you've made still in use after so long.
