    Colonial brand Pocket Knife

Whilst I'm down here in Missouri, on my spare time I've explored the local area in Potosi...in particular I have visited the antique shops a few times, and for some innocent reason, I keep going back .

Yesterday I found a nice pocket knife, brand Colonial, made in the good 'ol USA. Blade is 3 inches/7.5 cm, made of carbon steel.

Bikebum1975, this is for you my friend

lol I already contacted him .
Yep, if I remember right, it came from a collection that a local older gentleman had. It seems he was very fond of pocket knives . As for the Colonial brand, I don't know much.

I landed an Old Timer 250T at the same antique shop. Bought it for $15, which is quite a steal considering the prices people have paid for them on ebay. And mine came with the original sheath . That knife lives on my hip.

In the US a fair few people seem to use thrift/junk store Old Hickory knives to modify into Nessmuk/Kephart designs. Are they easy to get hold of?

Not around here, but I think you can find them on a few websites still....namely ragweed forge and crazy crow.

Do you mean the modified end result? I meant the Old Hickory knives that can be modded - I thought they were not uncommon.
