    Hello from Stockport!

    Hi folks, thought I'd introduce myself!
    Back into wild camping and bushcraft after many years (my wife thinks I'm having a mid life crisis! :-)
    I enjoy hiking and wild camping, just back from a 3 day Lake District stint with a couple of great nights high up. I've just bought myself a DD tarp and Hunka bivvi so I'm really looking forward to going tentless very soon. Heading over to the Peak District in the next couple of weeks for a bit of bushcraft, it's just hard finding a mixed forest rather than the usual spruce woodland that dominates the area. Any hints to a great wild camp woodland spot would be fantastic!

    Welcome to the forum. A mid life crisis is not an unusual diagnosis from the other half's but when they start to think you're having an affair then you need to worry.
