These are the 14 to 18 year olds that were taught in my scout group from 10 and a half that got the fire going and have kept it that way for the last three days. Last night they started the fire again and stayed by it until about 5 this morning! To say they were somewhat knackered today is an understatement but we rewarded them with a nice stroll around our camp site to wake them up. These kids just can't get enough of the outdoors and it is so rewarding to see it. Up early tomorrow for some caving.
Good work. they're lucky to have a good, active troop.👍
My eight year old grand son has just left Beavers and moved to Cubs, he loves it.

First time ever caving and I loved it!
I've never tried caving. I'd give it a go but I'm not sure I'd like the really squeeze bits.
The final part of the route was called 'The Drainpipe'. A 30 foot tunnel just wide enough to get my shoulders in and on my belly the whole way. That tested my nerve in a way never done before but the experience was well worth it.
