Thread: rucksack full of gear

for sale : rucksack full of gear & vango tent

I am selling this item as a private seller and this sale is in no way the responsibility of NaturalBushcraft.co.uk or any of its moderators. I promise to use this area to sell unwanted kit, not to repeatedly list similar items in the pursuit of profit.

    ---------------------------

Ive got way too much gear than I need, so im selling a backpack full of items.
this lot would be perfect for someone starting out bushcraft/backpacking/camping. Everything in one, to get you going, for a fraction of what it all costs. or for someone wanting to add to their gear.

mora 510, ray mears edition, carbon steel, in green. belt loop has been removed from sheath. (has had some use, but good condition still)
victorinox solo alox knife, aluminium handles (barely used)
victorinox multi-tool knife, black handles (saw, large blade, small blade, punch, tweezers, toothpick) (used)
    hand axe (barely used)
opinel knife (well used, has some wear to wooden handle)
lanksy knife sharpener with medium and fine ceramic rods. 25 degree, and 20 degree slots (wooden case has some scrapes/cuts/wear marks)
’ ray mears survival ‘ handbook
’ food from the wild ‘ handbook (covers 250 herbs, plants, nuts, seeds, mushrooms, etc) by ian burrows.
    pair of thinsulate gloves (used)
double aa maglite in anodised blue, with spare bulb in base, and spare batteries (well used, has wear marks)
750ml aluminium water bottle in green colour (used only once or twice)
750ml aluminium water bottle in camo colour (never used)
bcb steel canteen cup (well used but good condition still)
    pot/pan handle grabber
good quality sleeping mat roll, with elastic retaining straps. green one side, black the other. (not used much)
long length of sturdy rope (10mm-ish thickness, by 20 meters long)
large black poncho that turns into a shelter/tarp (never used)
35-ish litre cobmaster rucksack in green (used) the hip strap clip has a piece of plastic missing, but still clicks together and holds ok.

everything in pics fits into the rucksack, with enough space for a bit more. if the bed roll is lashed to the bottom of bag, will free up more room in the main compartment.

everything all together for a bargain £80. im moving house soon, so cheap quick sale needed.
would prefer local collection, to save hassles. location - bourne end, bucks. (SL8) postcode, but could probably arrange a courier cross-country, for an extra £10-ish ? .. will have to check weight and costs to confirm.

I also have a vango 2 man lightweight tent (banshee 200) that im selling separately for £50, but can throw into the rucksack combo, for a tenner less, if bought all together. its only been used twice, and is in great condition still.
i havent got any pics of that, as i didnt want to pitch it in the current wet weather, but have pasted a link below to vango's website for it :

ive tried to be as honest as I can with explanation of item condition. please ask for any more info.

yeah, im not greedy, ive got enough stuff for myself.

id rather sell it for less, and pass it onto a fellow bushcrafter, thats gonna get more use out of it than most folk, and appreciate it more.

with the tent included, all for £120 is a good deal i think too, and i need the money to pay for rent and food anyhow.

I know you want to sell as one piece but I'd be interested in the wild food book and bed roll...how much just for that if you were to sell?

hey guys - would rather sell complete, as it makes things hard to shift separately once split.

what did you want out of curiosity shepherd ?
