Its really over priced for what it is, better off buying

just bought it to test and have a play with tbh... wont loose any sleep over a fiver.

was more curious as to if it worked... i prefer using natural materials for fire lighting when able to do so.. my thinking for this was more of an insurance policy for 'sure fire' when needed very quickly..

My son uses Fuel4 bioethanol gel in his stove. Not sure but Vango may have taken them over.

Not used the liquid gel stuff but I use the solid gel blocks in my flash brew kit, 1 block in my little home made pin stove boils a brew in a few mins, a couple thrown in a side pocket carry no real weight and they handy for coffee stops (I like a lot of coffee stops)

I've used similar stuff. The one Rik said actually the stereo chafing gel. Its not bad to be honest

This is the steel model, they also do an aluminium version which I've not used. I used the steel one as a little woodburner and it takes a Trangia burner.
