    bees wax candle moulds?

    just got a shed load of bees wax and some wicks ... i have afew containers i can use to make some decent sized candles.. but im also looking to make some which are not contained within a container.. has anyone ever made/found for sale a mould which can be removed from the wax once it has dried?

    If you get stuck Shep maybe a length of round plastic waterpipe (B&Q Plumbing Dept) cut into 15cm? lengths and each piece cut in half length ways. You could tape the halves together, pour the wax in and then split it when the wax had hardened perhaps?

    That's an awesome idea mate thanks! I was thinking that kind of concept but was looking for it in nature. Why complicate things I suppose! Ill Def try that and let you know how I get on.

    I believe Beeswax candles can be made by hand rolling on grease proof paper ? have a look at you tube for ideas .

    If you were looking for that shape in nature, how about bamboo? could be fun to try.

    No me neither. I suppose it depends what size you were after.
    how about loo roll for short fat candles?
