    New Tick born Disease.

Was catching up on last weeks news papers.and came across this article.
    TICK BUG-DRUG FEAR.
A new disease spread by ticks nresistant to antibiotics has been discovered in the UK.
The unnamed illness causes headaches, muscle pain, tiredness,n reacurring fevers.
They are similar symptons to LYMESDisease.also carried by ticks.
Scientists have found numerous ticksacross the south of England that carry thebacteria Borre-lia Myamotoi.
It is not thought anyone here has had thedisease yet,but dozens in the USA have.
Experts alarmed by antibiotics having no effect urge people to check themselves and petsfor ticks after walks.

Horrible things ticks. The dog used to be prone to them until treating him with Advantix. Will be extra vigilant after trips on the moor.
