    Bargain of the week.DeAGOSTINI,are doing a magazine n collection of Zippo Lighters.
    Issue 1.is on sale at W.H Smiths,n othere good paper shops complete with lighter for £4.99,
    The regular price being £20ish.etc.
    The model is Florentine as a matter of interest.

    Midas thank you for the heads up, I might be tempted to go back to using a Zippo.

    They are marvelous in the wind,when trying to get a fire going.n at a pinch will run on other "Liquids".should petrol not be available..
    The best thing about them is once lit they are lit until you close the lid.unlike "BICS"were you end up burning your thumb.?Well I do .lol.

    One drawback if you are not a smoker and need to fill them up regularily...once you need it, it will be empty as all the fuel evaporates....lol
    I use mine very seldom...

    I have not smoked for 24 years n 10months,.But have both Zippo,n Bic.
    and now a new ZIPPO.!
    Guess my 1932-1989 MARBORO model is a collectors item,?.Now.

    I bought a turboflame insert for my zippo.
    That way you have the cool, retro, look of a zippo, but the strength of a turbo flame.
    I bought it ages ago. Hold on, I'll see if I can google one...

    Thank you Humakt for the turbo insert tip.
    Zippo do make a gas lighter.but for me that defeats the object,of having the choice of petrol.
    PS I also own a turbo lighter..very useful for the odd emergency soldering job.lol.
