Thanks Mark - I didn't know Tony but thinking of friends and family.

Thanks for letting us know Mark. Tony was one of a kind. His knife and leather work were superb and his knowledge deep and freely given. I shall certainly miss him.

That was really sad news. Tony was as we say in Norway "hel ved" - whole wood. An excellent craftsman. I am proud to own one of his axe sheaths. Now it will always remind me of him.

    Hi Mark

Just heard the news, terrible shame and he'll be missed. RIP Tony, thoughts are with his family and friends.

I'll sign off as Tony used to, as a mark of respect.

I had the good fortune of winning one of his knives as a competition prize. Will always look at it a little differently now.

    Sleep well Tony.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends, can't believe it to be honest. Great bloke with many a story by the fire.

Tony was one of the biggest men in both body and spirit I have ever had the privilege to know. I will miss his stories around the campfire. Hope to see you at the funeral if you are able to attend.
