Enjoying a simple night with gf

Hi everyone,

Time for me to take a little break in the wood, I slept yesterday night in the forest, in the middle-West of France.

Before finding a nice camp, we decided to go gathering some plants. But we saw horses and a foal on a field. My gf loves horse and couldn't resist feed them with some grass.



But the gathering wasn't too bad.
We found some "fragon" which looks and taste like asparaguses, "boutons de berce"(= hogweed bud ?) but taste too strong, some pignut, and coniferous thorn for the tea.



We also build a shelter for the night. Spend only one hour and a half, at 2 persons, so not bad.



She starts the fire, and hunt a duck.



No, joking, i bought the chicken the day before
It was absolutely delicious !! With plants before, it was wonderful. We didn't find some wooden garlic, which could be incorporate in the chicken ...



And I also try to distil some water thanks a survival tip, but didn't worked very well.
I think holes were too big and the top-bottle was to close from the fire. Because it started to melt lol

I obtained only 1mL of water in 15min, so not really efficiency.
