    Individual protection kit (IPK)

    Has anyone used the tarp from a IPK to make a tarp or something else?.

    I have used them as intended OHP (over head protection) as a shelter, I have also cut them up to make water resistant bags, also used the pegs and cordage for other stuff.

    As others have replied when you asked over on BCUK, yes you can use them as a tarp but tend to be small; they are cheap but there are better alternatives for an extra few quid.
