Any one know how to sharpen a crook knife? just got one delivered today it's great but will need to know how to sharpen it at some point.

Excellent stuff. Makes me want to have a crack. Lots of inspiration for wood carving around at the moment.

Hi Ian (Crafty bushcrafter) you'll have to excuse me for this, I like to start my day with a bit of humour.
Only I'm an ex pat living out here in the ex colony of South Africa, regarding the spoon a very nice piece of work for a novice (nice & clean), however I'm going out on a limb here, by saying I really believe you CARVED IT!
If however you calved it, then you must be a part time vet and it dropped out the rear end of a cow in a field somewhere, unless things have changed since I left the UK.
This has been written tongue in cheek and has put a smile on my face this morning, here's hoping you see it the same way.
    Cheers,
    Proventurer.
