    new "Craft" series on BBC4

    There's a new Craft series on BBC4 from 4th May 2015

    It will feature, Glass working, Chair making and, wait for it, Knife making

    Thanks for the link, I watched the first 2 and I'm looking forward to the chair making episode tomorrow. Hopefully it's greenwood.

    Having previously worked as a DOP and a professional video editor (still do occasionally) and as a massive fan of documentaries, how to do stuff books, films etc. and loving many amateur youtube channels I see something really good here. For television this is very low budget, high quality programme making from some very talented film makers and subjects. For YouTube it would be pushing extreme limits. I hope we see more on TV and YouTubers progress from the inspiration.

    I loved the technique for cutting the slot in the knife handle by heating the metal. In magic there is a philosophy that If you spend whatever amount of money on a book and pick up 1 single thing/idea from it you have spent your money well.

    So not only enjoyment, but a fantastic idea has been picked up
