    Canoe

    Just finished Ist canoe ( 1 week ago ) took about 40-45 hours to build by my lad and and me,quite chuffed with the result but will do better next time ....[ Click image for larger version.

    It depends if you like to travel as there is a Canoe Club at Bridgnorth starting tomorrow evening.

    Thank you Jon, It was a pleasure to build and now I know the pitfalls and have a better understanding of stitch and glue my next one will be even better. And as Dick Proenneke says "its always a pleasure to see what you can make instead of buying it" and when you have built it you understand how to repair it if it breaks
