    We decided not to go up Pen Y Ghent as there was a chance we may miss train and then have to wait 4 hours so we decided to cut across, miss the peak and join the trail back down.

    Awesome area...so much open space! Definitely a fun trip by the looks . Ahhh, nothing like a cool-down ale after a long trek .

    Great photos, love the area but have never made it there, somehow skirted around it. Worked regularly in Skipton, Giggleswick and Grassington. Used to camp in a horrid static caravan site with an ex's family somewhere round Ingleton so I am not sure how I managed to avoid those sites...

    Maybe I heard the word "hill" and headed in the opposite direction!
