    Hola!

    Hello there

Seems like it's the "done thing" to introduce myself

Gone all shy all of a sudden lol - it won't last!

I had a real passion for nature as a kid and I was lucky enough to have a lot of knowledgeable people around me back then. I then discovered alcohol and girls and lost interest for quite some time; before a long relationship with a farmer's daughter who's family had a lot of land and a real love of horses & hunting (ferrets, lamping (illegal now isn't it - shhhh!), shooting etc). I was in my element - loved every minute of it. Spent too much time with my lurcher, my pink 'oss (ok strawberry rhone) and her dad and his poacher & gypsy mates though - and she ran off with someone else when I was busy enjoying myself!

Ho-hum - really shouldn't have let her go - she was gorgeous too

Lived in cites for 10 years after that but started to re-connect around five years ago. Drunken lads camping trips to start with but I quickly got annoyed with camp-sites and leaving a mess and being a jerk.

Have been casually wild camping since then as well as trips to the lakes/peaks/scotland, walking and camping etc. Not really caught my buddies' munro bagging bug - I would rather find somewhere nice (the flatter the better!) with everything to hand and relax.

Guilty of being an armchair bush craft fan but then I am also a carer who looks after my elderly arthritis ridden parents (plus cancer and other nastiness) - as well as working full time - so I really haven't been able to get out as much as I would like to.

I do have some help now and my folks are on the mend these days *crosses fingers* so I hope to be able to spend more time out in the woods, moorland and along my local coastline.

    Thanks for listening
