    Woodsmoke and coffee

Cold day before a pending snow storm. Decided to try out my Sierra zip wood stove I recently got a couple months back. Went bust trying flint and steel then again the charred material I was trying wasn't so good. Think it was just a bit cold out for it so said screw it used matches oh well. At any rate the stove worked really well. Those wondering what the wires are it's for a battery pack that runs a small fan. Made a bit of coffee when that was done tossed a toids tins full of denim and cooked up some char cloth.

Sounds good. Your char cloth looks good too, better than the last lot I made

Thanks yeah it was fun. Honestly first time I've made char in a while. Could have been cooked a touch longer. Part was denim rest was part of an old sheet that cooked real nice

Last time I did it I think I over packed the tin. Bottom was toasted to a crisp and top was still brown.
