    Hi David

Could you try making one? I made one from buffalo horn and a reclaimed bearing from a burnt out jigsaw. Just used a forstner bit in a pillar drill to make the recess for the bearing, although a spade bit would do the same job and then fixed the bearing in with a bit of araldite.

I buy antler dog chews from Farmway (local farm suppliers) for making handles for things. Not too expensive and you can get some really nice pieces without breaking the bank if you rake around in the box

    hello,
I am capable of making such using wood, antler, & have used granite, & hollowed out pebbles etc.. I was thinking of keeping the trade in the NBC family & making a purchase via the community 'fish' came to mind. Aye Midas I did see the skateboard bearing race sometime ago, neat idea that. I've been practicing/teaching fire lighting during these months of snowfall, idea opportunity to hone the fire lighting skills in sub zero temperatures
    Regards
    David
Ps. Thumbcrusher that's a great price for bearings BTW
