Right off the cuff Clydebank & the Kilpatrick Hills we used to (occasionally still do) 'TAB' with the Parachute/SAS Regt up there. Along old Kilpatrick to Milngavie, Lang Craig's circuit Dumbarton, Doughnut Hill, plus along the A82 gateway to the North plenty of great locations for Bushcraft. There's a few country parks around your area too
