"Travel a thousand miles by train and you are a brute;
pedal five hundred on a bicycle and you remain basically a bourgeois;
paddle a hundred in a canoe and you are already a child of nature.".
Fantastic narrative and great photos. As OakAshandThorn hinted - you ate better on your travels than I do at home!
Looked a great adventure, really interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing.
When life gets you down...Hammock!
It's amazing how far away the world can feel when you're suspended just two foot off the ground!
Nice, looked like a great week. Something in particular jumped out.
The obvious Haggis Chilli moment??? Wow!!!... Strangely, I once knew a guy (English bloke) who had almost zero taste buds through an incident in his younger days. He ate curry sauce (at the chippy's) with anything for flavour. As you can imagine when he first visited Scotland he was coxed into a haggis supper and had it with curry sauce, those that never knew had some strange reactions.
