most of them are less then 2kg and most are a lot smaller then a small tent when packed. Where abouts are you based?

Hennessy would probably suit you both nicely.
Hennessy are expensive...
Im looking £100 minimum for one...
I see some unbranded on amazon that are a little too cheap... £20 for hammock and net...
Im looking to spend around £50...
Thats my budget for a smaller tent I was eyeing up...
My current tent is 4man which is great for me the missus and the dog with gear space... but too big when its just me and the dog...
Maybe a DD then, travel and frontline are around £50 each, tarps sold seperately though and not quite so roomy.

Really intrested in hammocking so this is a good thread for me. Was wondering if there was a good starter hammock that doesn't break the bank?
Just as a quick bit of info here are a couple of links for hammock manufacturers. Have DD and Tenth Wonder here at home and just love the DD's myself

And for those new to the idea of hammocks you must pay a visit to Shug and watch his 'How To' videos

but this is getting a bit for an intro thread and may be better for a new subject to be started.
