    How things have changed....

    This time of year was always a busy one for me before I retired..dashing around my customers,Farms n Estates I shot on.handing out Bottles of whisky n port.
    So I was surprised,When I txted the owner of the estate I pest control on,that I would be on site in the early hours of this morning.
    She said good,there will be a bottle of whisky in the mail box for you!Thank you for doing such a good job.
    Was very wind this am on the moors.Usually good for rabbits,but alas not a moving thing about!!

    I used to do the same, one Farmer's wife told me it was the only time her old man smiled..when I gave him a bottle of Whisky..

    always nice when a surprise gift turns up! the owner of the estate I work for got me a pair of expensive shooting socks and a HUGE slab of smoked salmon he caught on the tweed... fantastic
