    Runswick Bay solo pic heavy

Well Saturday morning came and it was down to me to go solo, chomping at the bit I was out of the house late morning.

A view looking towards my intended target, had never camped out down the beach so far.

And that's a no go, tried uploading images but getting no joy, tried from photobucket and from the pc, any hints please

I use tinypic which seems to work ok.
If there are no women around and a man says something, is he still wrong?

    Ok, here goes.

The starting point, from the road at the bottom of the bank.

I had a rough idea where I was headed but hadn't camped that far down the beach before, getting closer.

The beach stretch done, time to turn to a mountain goat, fresh water, no farming close so it might be ok boiled up, I had carried in.

Time for a break and a look back from where I had started, a breather and a drink of water and then a push to find home.

A few shots of 'my' homestead for the night, the sun by this time was so hot the shirt came off for a couple of hours sunbathing, great views, couldn't have asked for more.

Well it had been a slog but well worth it I thought, it was getting late so the supper went on, venison stew washed down with sloe gin, don't mind if I do.

The sun dropped behind the hill and the temp dropped, time for bed, a good day with good food.

The walk out in the morning wasn't without event due to me getting the tide times wrong, still, a nice ramble for a couple of hours until I could get down the beach.

That it was, I hadn't been that far up, and knew not what was there, but what a spot I found, the weather couldn't have been better, and as a hayfever sufferer it was a 'risk' but I was fine, couple of sneezes in the morning, job done.
