Thread: Camoflauged Lavvu Photography Hide/Shelter...

A Shooting Lodge perhaps !! If I make the Height of the Pyramid lower the extra material will fold under as a Ground Sheet potentially giving a Shelter cum Hidey Hole to do a Weekend camp and Photo shoot. I suppose lightweight nylon might reduce packed size and weight....Cheers

Get a "GILLIE SUIT"wear it!instead of carrying.you can then make like a tree anywere!.Some off the pop ups are very light n take up nomore space than say a reflector, which work on same principal.

A Gillie Suit is something I've looked at and is perfectly convenient because, as you say, your wearing it. A shelter on the other hand allows full use of the tripod which is a plus if your taking a zoomed shot and don't want any camera shake. I've looked at some pop ups, but not all, and the ones I looked at seem a bit big, considering I want to include camp-out/bushcraft items. I must do a bit more browsing of pop ups.....cheers Midas.

Sometimes I think,we confuse some issues.I go hunting/shooting wearing bright red jacket n hat.But it doesnt seem to put off the animals,Breaking up ones outline, keeping quiet,n being still.are more important!
Best of luck in your venture!
