Yeah, this is what i mean, not necessary a long prominent gaurd, just a little one like the new Mora (old haven't)

Those are fine for some folks, but I find it gets in the way when I'm handling the knife for a prolonged time. Some like a guard as a built-in safety feature, and others such as myself prefer to have no guard whatsoever (Mora Classics and other puukkos). Each to their own .
