    A tip for the hammockers out there.....

    tip for the hammockers: sew or stick velcro line down the middle inside of the hammock, sew/stick velcro strips across a kip mat in 4 places. no more matt slippage!

    Or you could just put the mat in between the two outer layers.

    Can't say I've ever had a mat slip, to be honest.

    i have a double layer and cant getit to stay put,made a winter underblanket but its too hot for summer use!

    Aye, and DD hammocks tend to have the same little problem. Thanks for the tip .

    Great tip Fish. I tried using a mat between the layers once, and never again for the same reason. I now use a homemade underquilt but I did consider buying some 'hook and eye' so that I could keep my pillow in its place.
