Just paid my first semester fee. All £65 of it. And that + purchasing a few books is all I have to pay. Gotta love socialised education!
And that I will recover in parking fees quite quckly as the student ID will give me parking for a day for 1£ in town, instead of paying £2 an hour!
Not to talk of all the rebates it will give me...i did chose my country well! Thanks mom and dad :-)

A lot of stuff, to much to explain so I just google translated the schools blurb about it...

"The study focuses on societal, risk factors and contingency in the north in an international perspective, but will also have relevance for other regions and conditions. Within the various topics we will place great emphasis on practical approach through exercises and simulations. Cooperation between national and international expertise that this study will provide a unique combination of subjects on the practical and theoretical level.

Northern Area Knowledge, geosciences, environmental and vulnerability, organization, management and logistics, operational management, risk and risk management, and exercises. Practical approach and skills in planning and conducting exercises for emergency preparedness, is central to this study.

The program makes you qualified to provide consultative and advisory roles in the public sector, private sector and NGOs. Along with suitable work experience qualifies also for management and specialist tasks in similar areas. The course provides basic knowledge of interaction across the various sectors and communities, skills in analyzing and assessing acute emergency situations where life, environment and property may be at stake, the evaluation and prevention, and the development of appropriate preparedness for such situations."

Anyway it was the only one available here that was remotely interesting...and I have some background that may be releveant :-)

Completed that in in 3 years, not bad for a 46 year old :-)
