    Ammo's boot fixer upper

I was asked by Ammo to repair his old faithful boots as no cobbler would touch them.
We all know what it's like to loose a favourite pair of boots, didn't want to say no to him. His Massive Burmese dog scoffed the back of them.
Here they are so far. Replacing the vinyl fake leather backs with real leather and some high impact foam.
Couple hours with the saddlery needles and I think a good dose of beeswax to re proof them should do it.

One fully stitched now. Took my time as I had The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty on ( my current inspiration to make the most of any trip, no matter the destination )
Used syn sinew, doubled up in a lock stitch so it's got 4 threads per turn. Should be pretty strong lol

    Mike thankyou.
Only just seen this, been hectic. Mate that is fantastic, really thankyou so much. I've bought boots since the dog did his damage, but honestly, i missed these too much. I have an injury to might right leg/foot and its hard to get boots that fit BOTH feet perfectly. These do. I'm off to stare at the pics again. Thankyou very very much. Im Chuffed

My pleasure mate. It's nice I do something a little different and test my skill levels from time to time. This worked out perfect

I agree, it's handy to use the skills now and again
