There is a reason why the various armies have changed out their rucksacks...the old school sacks where all terrible on the shoulders.
But probably fine if you only intend to carry your brew kit, lunch and an extra sweater in it.

Sound advice, Rune. I also don't notice a sternum or waist strap, so it would become a pain to carry lots of kit for a few days. Seems like a decent day-pack, but I wouldn't use it for longer periods.

That type of pack was designed to ride above a full webbing belt. That means there isn't much in the way of support without it. It is well possible to use any rucksack for any length of time, but I wouldn't say it's comfy lol. Depends on what you are looking to do with it that will make the difference tbh.

Isn't it nice when someone says "that's a great piece of kit, where did you buy that", then you can modestly reply "you can't buy it, I made it myself". The moral is, it's amazing what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.

If you are a big tall guy this pack is gonna be so uncomfortable, digging right into the centre of you back. Shug is spot on, this pack will be meant to be worn as a CEMO/CEFO which when all together, apparently, makes it more user friendly. Lol!
