    Waiting for the supplier to get a matching leeku in stock and then we have another one to make . Shooting a wedding today til 4 and then have to entertain 4 boyos. Might be some forging yet!!

    here she is all finished. Forged the twisted ring from an old piece if tool steel. First attempt was from a length of file but when trying to close it up it shattered.
    Anyhoo, sealed the leather and oak in a hot beeswax dip, kept it plain and simple as I can always add chip carvings later if I keep it. Th was dip was a very messy job and will have to think of other ways to do it next time.
    I've learnt a lot and tried many new things in making this Sami sheath. Thanks for watching and for all your kind comments.
