It rained here last night. Nice and fresh this morning. The plants have been needing some fresh water. I walked outside and noticed these little gems on the leaves of a tree I planted a few years ago. It's sometimes in the very smallest things that I see the wonder and beauty of nature.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. - Chinese Proverb
Nice, can't believe that little Rowan already has berries on it...

Whilst out for a stroll I spotted this little fella sunning himself.
Judging by his tail I'd say I'm not the first to have seen him...

Just seeing that photo reminded me to share this. I was in South Africa last week to attend my fathers memorial service and committing his ashes to sea. There were a few small things that my mother gave us for sentimental reasons and because my older brother and I were going back to our own countries.
It was something I always admired and now I'll cherish.
That's a nice compass! 👍
Watched the fog roll in over the cliff tops and across the moor whilst at work yesterday. Visibility went from miles to less than 50 metres in a matter of minutes.
