I'm puzzled about what your job is now. Hard hat, but no chainsaw gear.

As I was coming home from day care with the runt in tow, this feller was having a snooze at S.W.M.B.Os vegetable garden. Lucky for us he scampered when he spotted us, but coulød not help himself from stopping for a pose on the other side of the creek just down from our yard :-)

He needs to be well fed, he only got a couple of more months to stuff himself with greenery before winter comes...

Just out of curiosity Rune, hope you don't mind me asking...
Does Norwegian law allow self sustenance? Meaning, if you had had a gun instead of a camera at that moment, would you be allowed to shoot it?
Providing it's a wild one and not part of your neighbour s herd....
Just curious as all countries have different opinions and law...

    Oh he is wild allright!
Moose has a hunting season in this county from 25th september to 31st october, so no, I could not have shot him now. I would also need a licence, and pass a not so strict shooting test (5 shots within the lethal area in the chest on a reindeer figure as seen from the side in the prone position using the rifle you will be using for the hunt). But there are so many that waiting for hunting season would not be a problem. But I must say that moose was perfectly placed, and the distance was about 60-70 yards!

That's cool, seems like a sensible restriction...
Not 100% sure , but pretty similar to Alaskan law...
    Thanks Rune! Interesting stuff!
