Thanks, guys - they are doing much better now that DDT use is illegal. Peregrine falcons were arguably the hardest hit, and they're still considered a threatened species, even farther north where their numbers are greater.

Here's a curious fellow in the hedges. Poor thing has a broken wing or something...couldn't fly very far, and I had to re-locate him because he was originally in the middle of a used trail. Hopefully he'll be safer in the thick brush.

Recent outing yesterday
Whilst collecting blackberries in my canoe (the ones walkers can't reach) some were a little too ripe and just fell off. This one landed on the gunnel and you can see how ripe and juicy it was.
