    Thought I'd make an offering, taken on my iphone around 2am Thursday past, very low mist that rolled in through the trees almost illuminescent, low cloud cover for a few hours then the northern lights made an appearance above it, the sky glowed so bright the birds began to chirp thinking it was dawn....

    Dried jews ear.
    It's a useful thickener for soups and stews in its dried state. Pound it into a powder and add it.
