    Rune, those aurora pics are stunning . Makes me wish that we could view them here. I've seen a few meteor showers, total lunar and solar eclipses, but never something as beautiful as aurora borealis.

    I was actually out trying to catch a meteor shower, but I was to late, and just saw a single shooting star.

    I had some hope of seeing the sun today for the fisrt time this year, when I noticed the sky in south was clear. But alas the clouds rushed in and covered the southern horizon before she rose above the mountains.
    Have not seen the sun since she set in the end of November 2016. She officially rose above the horizon here on January 10th, but she has the crest the mountains in the south before we can see her. So she was really due on january 19...but clouds and snowy weather has kept her hidden...

    Hehe, just to break the illution...it the right edge bank, is the roadside of the main road into town, and it was bumper to bumper traffic as it was taken just minutes before office hours started :-)

    Nevertheless it's nice to see another photo from up there. I was just thinking yesterday how sad that we've not seen another fishy photo recently.
