    Threadlocker

    Chaps.
    Hopefully someone can help me.
Does anyone know if products such as Loctite Threadlocker give off a mist like superglue does?
I want to glue something down, and I'd normally use a dab of superglue on it, but there's the risk that the superglue will give a misty coating to the nearby glass since the object being glued is in a confined area.
So I was thinking of a bit of Loctite threadlocker instead. Before I do that does anyone know if such products leave that white dusty mist type residue that superglue can do?
    Cheers

Have you thought about the glue for fixing rear view mirrors to windscreens, I believe it's a slightly different formulation.
    But please check first.

Loctite requires it to be under pressure to work right. Try using UHU or something similar.

Isn't it nice when someone says "that's a great piece of kit, where did you buy that", then you can modestly reply "you can't buy it, I made it myself". The moral is, it's amazing what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.
