I use a 22 and 177 air rifles for shooting rabbits and other vermin, I make all my own snares and use them to good effect and I ferret for rabbits and I also make all my own purse nets.
I would love to learn rabbiting using air rifles or ferrets.

didnt see this! bit late but i used to shoot regularly down near roche. rimfire and air rifle. have a more local permission now living up near bodmin moor but travle down now and again clearing rabbits on paddocks.

Your a bit optmistic,expecting someone with land.to let you use them in an attempt to get an FAC.
Think about it !would you allow someone you dont know to wander around your land with a loaded gun.!also a lot of land owners do not want the police checking their land.and been involved.
If I were you I'd do some free pest control, beating,helping Gamekeeper n earn the possibility.of them allowing you to obtain an open ticket by using their land.
