    The new world of spotting wild edibles

    Trying my hand (and mouth) at wild edibles...very new to it tho so need help!

    Is this Pennywort/Navelwort?

    Penny and navelwort appears to be the same plant with two variations on it's name, your picture is a little far away but setting looks common, and indeed it's pretty common down 'ere' in Devon, feels like a succulent/ fleshy type texture which bruises and darkens readily. lots of good info about and guides available, so would google some nice images or field guide before munching. Navel as it looks like your belly button, although in reality it doesn't look too much like mine.
