    kids first camp fire :)

Me and the misses took the kids for a last minute walk at the weekend, built a small fire with them and cooked a tin of soup on it, which they were only too eager to eat...yet wouldnt touch it if we had offered it at home lol.

Lovely,Brings back memories.enjoy em whilst they are young. The grow up so fast!At least your leading them in the right direction.Hot Dog sausages,on a stick,or done in hot water) used to go down well with mine.(n as they are already cooked.theres no danger.)

Bushcraft xBox! Nice one. Good to get'em on it at an early age.

As a kid I always liked food to be cooked outside whenever possible - sizzling steaks and bacon roasting on the flames, sausages, salmon, marshmallows,...what could be better?

Its true they do grow up too fast and miss out on too much if were not careful, I remember being 7 or 8 and camping in the garden with my mates or exploring the woods and having little fires with my older cousin and wanting to cook & eat anything we had or could find on it.... only seems like afew years ago but at the same time its like a life time away. Thanks for all the kind words guys
