Currently it's Ardbeg Uigeadail, but my other one is full of Laphroaig Quarter Cask. I do love my whisky, I just have to make sure I have my Glencairn glass packed. I'm quite lucky though as the water at my usual spot comes off peat, after it's been boiled and cooled it goes lovely in a cask strength Dram. I can't wait till this distillery opens though.

It's going to be a peaty one, just how I like it. But for anyone who really likes a malt, and likes to nose a few, this might be of interest to you

Isn't it nice when someone says "that's a great piece of kit, where did you buy that", then you can modestly reply "you can't buy it, I made it myself". The moral is, it's amazing what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.

Just filled my hip flask with Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Bit expensive but I'm down with family at a wedding so it's a special occasion

Blue is a nice one, decent blended malts can be hard to come by these days.

Had some Blue Label years ago and thought it was about the worst whiskey I'd ever had. The stuff that sent the Indians on the warpath..... now whether it was gen up stuff or Croatian knock off I can't be entirely sure but it was convincing packaging if it was dodgy..
