    Great work lads. I like the steam vent idea. I gonna have to borrow that idea and adapt the one I made last year out of an aluminum pan lid.

    Thanks Tigger and Bernie.

    I think this demonstrates more than ever that the sum of the parts (members) is greater than the whole (forum). I shall keep this idea in mind. Back in the last century when I was an Air Cadet doing DEA I used to use my enamel pint mug to heat a brew while I ate my lunch. I think a little aluminium lid for the mug could be in order.

    Lovely job and the difference you'll see in fuel consumption is fantastic over using an open top pot.

    Very true, it does seem to make a big difference, also nice not drinking ash and leaf litter.....lol

    Nice job Tony. It looks like yours doubles as a handle retainer to keep the handles in the packed away position. I like that.
