Oh Yes she did!! Who forgot to get a valentines card? Well it wasn't me, it was primed and ready under the bed for early cuddles and brownie points.
No I am positively in serious credit! Or she just didn't see the point in getting me one....

It comes up in conversation every know and then.
I even remembered to get a card for SWMBO but did not receive a card myself BUT I did have liver an bacon with potato wedges for my tea and it was Brilliant.

I did the cooking this time round. Good chunk of steak, chips, onion rings, grilled tomato, mushrooms and peas. Followed by strawberry mouse fruit compote and a good bottle of red wine.
Nearly had to delay things when next doors tree came down into our garden only just missing the chicken coup, but decided that sorting it out can wait till tomorrow.
Good plan! Free wood is always worth more effort TOMORROW lol

I was on nightshift so V day wasn't great in this house. I bought a card and a gift, but no booze for me, which is a shame as I got a bottle of Ardbeg Uigeadail of her.

Isn't it nice when someone says "that's a great piece of kit, where did you buy that", then you can modestly reply "you can't buy it, I made it myself". The moral is, it's amazing what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.
